BMW i8 Roadster

It's an all new reboot of one of the first hybrid electric sports cars. BMW calls it an all wheel drive freedom machine. It's the all new i8 Roadster, delivering the performance of a sports car, with the newest electric vehicle technology.
It sits on the same platform as the i8. The size is almost identical to the coupe, but the back seat has been removed, and there are exclusive exterior colors like metallic copper. The refined upholstery, and unique 20 inch alloy wheels, make this a head turning vehicle.
The top goes down in just sixteen seconds and can be raised or lowered while you drive at up to 30 miles per hour. The signature scissor doors add to the car's exotic flavour.
This has more power than the original i8, with a combined gas and electric output of 374 horsepower. It has an electric only range of about thirty miles. There is a gasoline engine driving the rear wheels. An electric motor drives the front wheels.
It will accelerate from zero to sixty miles per hour in just 4.6 seconds, and has a top speed of 155 miles per hour.
It's a plug in hybrid but more than anything it's the sizzling style that appeals most.
