The Ford Bullitt made its big debut at the Detroit Auto Show. This is a limited-edition Mustang being released in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the classic Steve McQueen film. It was revealed by none other than Steve McQueen's granddaughter, Molly McQueen.
It sits atop Torq-Thrust-inspired 19-inch five-spoke aluminum wheels in black. It runs with a six-speed manual transmission with a white cue-ball shifter. It's powered by 5.0-litre V8 engine which gets 475 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. It hits a top speed of 163 miles per hour.
For colour options it comes in Dark Highland Green or Shadow Black. Recaro leather-trimmed seats can be added as well as a Bullitt Electronics Package, which includes navigation, upgraded audio system and Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert.
The new 2019 Bullitt can be expected to hit Ford dealerships this summer although pricing has not been released.
