The 29th Annual Wallaceburg Antique Motor and Boat Outing drew a huge crowd today, as well as a unique assortment of vintage vehicles.
Some of the cars on hand were down right bizzare. There was a 60's Dodge Dart that had a splatter paint job, which can only be described as a piece of rolling art. There was also a vintage Fiat - Rat Rod, that the owner uses as a daily driver. It was front and center at the show and was generating a lot of attention.
In addition to the bizarre there was of course a lot of beauty on hand. There were Cobras, Camaros, Firebirds, vintage Cadillacs, an assortment of Plymouths from the 1930's and a killer 1973 Corvette Restomod with an incredible Candy Red Paint job finished off with subtle flames.
There was also a car that had been submerged in water, and rescued from its rusty grave in a farmers field, and is now resurrected as a custom driver.
The WAMBO car show also features antique Fire Trucks, Vintage Farm equipment and even antique wooden boats each year. This was the show's 29th year.
It is the biggest event the community of Wallaceburg hosts on an annual basis and this year's show was a success with visitors coming in from across Southern Ontario and parts of the U.S.
SST Car Show hosts Rick Walker and Jessica Killoran were on hand, and have produced a series of videos. Their work highlights the show's best and brightest and you will be able to see the video reports here at www.sstcarshow.com, and on the SST Car Show social media channels. Look for reports on TV too in the Toronto and Central Ontario area on WKBW TV via cable and satellite as part of the syndicated network carrying the SST Car Show .
