PORT HURON MICHIGAN

The Main Street Memories Car Show in Port Huron Michigan was well attended today and attracted some very cool rides. ( Check out the video highlight reel with SST's Jessica Killoran above )

Rat rods were out in full force. There was an award winning piece sporting parts from 57 Chevy's, Peterbilt Transport Trucks, and old Lincolns. It was put together piece by piece from parts coming from a Junkyard, but the result was a piece of rolling art. There was also an old Chevy pick up that was done up just right in Rat Rod Style.

The motto at the Main Street Memories car show is: "Community Not Competition"" The show is not judged. It is a family friendly event and it's important to the local community. The show attracts a large crowd to the downtown and merchants prosper.

There were many charities represented. A l.ocal business donated space in front of their shop to host an ice cream float stand, that was doing brisk business selling Vernor's and Rootbeer floats. The proceeds were going to help a young boy who needs a support dog.

There were some primo- Custom Camaros,on hand, a killer custom 32 Ford Street Rod, and the icing on the cake had to be a pristine red 57 Chevy, that was complimented at the other end of the Main Street Show by a retro style 57 Chevy themed golf cart that had far more options and accessories than original 57 Chevy's ever did.

The Main Street Memories Car show, was all about rekindling the past for folks, but today the show did much more than that. It created new memories for folks from both Michigan and Ontario. It's a quality show that continues to grow, and that why the SST Car Show crew will be back in the years ahead to provide more coverage. - SST CAR SHOW NEWS.
