A new performance package aimed to please has been revealed by Chevrolet. The 1LE performance package as seen from the photo above does not only look powerful, but truly is powerful under the hood as it comes with a bunch of track-ready goodies.
On the outside, the vehicle has a revised grille and an enormous rear wing that provides 300 pounds of downforce at top speed. It sits atop newly forged 19 inch wheels and are the widest tires offered on a production Camaro.
The ZL1 1LE comes with a 650-horsepower supercharged V8 which is the same as the as the normal variant but this package is only available with a 6-speed manual. The 1LE package sheds some weight too as it is 60 pounds lighter due to a lighter back seat.
If you're wondering how effective the ZL1 1LE performance package is, Chevrolet claimed it was 3 seconds faster than the normal ZL1 model.
The package will be available starting this summer on 2018 Camaro ZL1 coupes.
