BMW is off to a fast start to 2017 as sales for January have shown that it's the automotive company's best-ever start to the year with increased deliveries in all world regions.
BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce are the big premium brands in the BMW Group and a total of 163,288 vehicles have been sold worldwide between them. Compared to January of last year, that is an increase of 6.8%.
BMW by itself has increased its sales to 143,553 for the month and their electrified models have doubled in sales as well. Not a bad start for the German automotive company. With the arrival of the BMW 5 Series coming soon to dealerships, the company believes they will be able to keep the momentum.
