The SEMA Auto Show has always been a place for automotive companies to show off and this year was no exception as Fiat Chrysler Automobiles came out to impress as they brought six customized vehicles to the event but the coolest one of all was the Dodge Shakedown Challenger.
This is a classic 1971 Dodge Challenger but it has a more modern appearance. Powering this beast is a 485-horsepower Hemi V8 paired with a six-speed manual transmission from a Viper. It's got Brembo brakes from a Challenger SRT Hellcat so this vehicle has it's fair share of stopping power. It's headlights and taillights also come from a 2017 Challenger bringing the modern look to this classic 1971 vehicle.
When concept vehicles are unveiled at SEMA they are usually not created to demonstrate future styling or technology, but are made to be cool and I would say Fiat Chrysler Automobiles has done just that.
