The new 2017 Jeep Compass has been announced but with only a few details available. From the appearance it is far curvier than before and has a more modern look. The redesigned small crossover is said to have 17 different powertrains available across the world.

It is to have "superior on-road driving dynamics" but for those who like to go off-road then the Trailhawk model will be available which comes with red tow hooks and all.
A two-engine mix is expected to be featured with a 2.4 litre four cylinder base motor or 1.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder being the one choice while the 2.0-litre turbocharged Hurricane four-cylinder possibly being the higher end choice.
Not much else is really known about the crossover aside from the mentions of it having "advanced fuel efficient powertrains," and "open-air freedom."
