The Nissan Navara EnGuard Rescue truck concept is all about saving lives. The key is search and rescue technology that has been built directly into the vehicle, making it easier and faster for first responders to get to the scene of an emergency and get to people who need their help.
This concept truck, has a lot of capabilities that the average vehicle doesn't, and it looks good too. Neon green accents on the wheels add to the overall appeal of the vehicle, and accent the truck's purpose, which is action and safety oriented.
The vehicle has handy portable battery packs that can be recharged by the truck's diesel engine and also has seven high amperage AC power outlets that allow the truck to power up, heavy machinery in hazardous places. The rescue truck has 187 horsepower, thanks to its 2.3-litre twin-turbo diesel engine. Fibreglass trays hold an axe, ropes and radios and the vehicle even comes equipped with life jackets and oxygen tanks.
To top it all off it even comes with a DJI Phantom 4 drone allowing it to help with the search and rescue. It can fly about 20,000 feet into the air and is displayed on a 20.5-inch HD screen in the truck allowing it to cover a lot of ground.
Without a doubt this is one of the coolest concept vehicles for rescue trucks that have been shown for a while.
