Ford of Canada has been making a big difference with its "Drive One 4 Your Community" charity events, and the most recent fund raiser in Chatham-Kent presented by Victory Ford was a huge success.
Essentially the program involves a Ford dealer like Victory Ford in Chatham. The dealer supplies the vehicles, and a tent is set up in a public place somewhere in the community. People are encouraged to come out and test drive the cars, and for each test drive Ford donates $20 to a community organization.
Today Victory Ford set up in a parking lot at the Boston Pizza / Best Buy / Home Depot shopping plaza in Chatham. Money raised went to enhance local health care. Every time an event is held Ford will donate as much as $6000 to a community cause.
To date $30-million dollars has been raised for community project across Canada through the program.
