Fast and Furious Cast and Crew head to CUBA.

Times are changing as the "Fast and Furious" Franchise head to Cuba to film the newest installment of the series.

F8 will take advantage of the 50's cars that still run up and down the roads in Cuba to film scenes for the next "Fast and Furious" film. This makes it the first major global film production to shoot in Cuba since the travel embargo was lifted, allowing U.S. citizens to travel to the country again.

Cuba is filled with old classics. People in the country have kept them running and in good shape. They needed to when imports of U.S. built cars came to stop after the Cuban revolution that brought Castro to power and put the country at odds with the United States.

The video attached, shows some of what we can expect to see in the film with some behind the scenes pictures, apparently shot under cover. The movie crew is also shooting in several other countries including Iceland.

F8 will be released in April of 2017.
