Muscle Cars and Customs Headline Tomorrow's Line up For Classic Car Auction of Toronto - ccp auc

The first of three days was exciting and diverse at the Classic Car Auction of Toronto, where the Spring 2016 edition of the sale attracted some weird and wonderful vehicles.

There were BMW's, a Hearse, and of course and assortment of muscle cars. Most important for Friday was the huge selction of Memorabilia that was auctioned off, the biggest selection in the history of the sale.

Tomorrow a high dollar vintage Dodge Challenge R/T will cross the block along with a Gorgeous show quality 39 Mercury Custom Roadster, and a 39 Plymouth Roadrunner with a paint scheme that looks like a something straight from the mind of Southern Californa custom paint master.

The event is the largest of its kind in Canada, and it gives people the chance to bid a diverse selction of collectible and special interest automobiles. You'll find everything from Rolls Royces, Aston Martins, Corvettes, and Mini Coopers, to old AMC Pacers, and even the occasional Hearse here. If it's a car that is of interest to car enthusiasts this is where you will see them bought and sold.

It is also a great place for a day of entertainment. For many the bidding process is as much a sport as soccer, or hockey, and it makes for great people watching. It's also fun for many to guess how much the cars might sell for.

"It's a barometer for how much a car is worth," says Dan Spendick the man behind the auction. "We have the buyers here, so if someone wants to find out what their car is worth, this is a good place to come, because the auction will pretty closely tell you what the market value is for any collector vehicle."

The auction continues tomorrow morning, when the doors open at 9am. More memorabilia will be auctioned off first, but within the first half hour they will jump right into the thick of things and start auctioning off cars. Saturday wiill be a heavy day with many show and museum quality vehicles being sold.

Sunday is expected to be a good day too, again with a selection of special interest, exotic and muscle cars set in the schedule.

Coverage of the auction continues throughout the weekend at www.streetsporttv.com. A full list of the consigned vehicles can be found at www.ccpauctions.com
