CCP Auctions Spring sale Attracting Growing List of Collectible Vehicles

The 2016 spring edition of "The Classic Car Auction of Toronto" is shaping up to be one of the most unique in the history of the sale.

"Corvettes are well represented," said CCP Auctions owner Dan Spendick. "We have a split window Corvette that is very exciting. It's a numbers matching car and it is rare and there will be a crowd around that".

There are also estate vehicles being auctioned off, from the southern U.S. and they are rust free.

"We have what is probably the biggest selection of memorabilia in the history of the auction too," said Spendick. That selection of automotive collectibles includes old gas stations signs, neon signs, pedal cars, restored vintage gas pumps, and air pumps. Much of the memorabilia is sold on the first day of the sale and in the mornings so buyers are advised to arrive early.

The selection of cars is not confined to vintage vehicles. The sales will also feature some new and newer, exotic and collectible automobiles. One of the most exciting is a brand new Dodge Challenger Hellcat with Zero Miles on.

"There is a waiting list for these cars," said Spendick. "We have a brand new 2016 Challenger Hellcat, with 707 horsepower and it's right out of the showroom. So that's an interesting and exciting piece. It's a chance for someone to get their hands on one of these cars and avoid the wait".

Hundreds of cars will be sold during the three day sale which will be held at the International Centre in Mississauga, Friday April 29th, Saturday April 30th, and Sunday May 1st.

"There is still time to consign vehicles," said Spendick. "It's easy and it can be done online".

CCP Auctions events which are held each spring and fall are established as the biggest collector car auctions in Canada. The auctions have become a Canadian tradition, and mark the beginning and end of the car show season. "It's where the buyers and sellers are, and we always have a great selection of 50s cars. The sale has really become known for its selection of 50's cars", said Spendick.
