NO SUPRA IN NEW "NEED FOR SPEED"

WHAT?????? NO TOYOTA PRODUCTS IN THE NEXT NEED FOR SPEED??????
That's right! You will not find any Toyota vehicles in the Need For Speed Line Up, when the next edition of the video game hits store shelves in November.
The Toyota Supra is the car that is most noticeably absent from the "Need For Speed" line up. The BMW based Supra is one of the most controversial, and exciting sports cars to debut in the past year, and many had hoped it would be part of the video game, but nope. It's not there.
You will find 13 BMW's, 13 Nissans, a Polestar and surprisingly even a 1975 Volvo 242 DL in the list of vehicles to choose from, but not a single Toyota.
So the question is why?
Toyota's British division posted a response on Twitter saying simply, "not there....you can find our cars in GT Sport", apparently because that video game does not promote illegal street racing. The next "Need FOr Speed" will have a cops versus street racer theme to it.
The folks at "Need For Speed" responded saying, "pft nerds", but later deleted that post and replaced it with a more formal response which seems to blame the absence of Toyotas in the next NFS on legal stuff. The people at Toyota say most of the people on their staff grew up loving cars, and playing video games, and would love to see Toyotas in as many video games as possible to promote the love of cars, but currently there are no plans to extend Toyota licensing beyond "Gran Turismo Sport".
Toyota enthusiasts will just have to settle for other brands when ripping it up in the next "Need For Speed" choosing from, more than 120 vehicles including a 2017 Acura NSX, a 2009 Honda S2000, a 2017 Infiniti Q60S, 1996 and 2015 variants of the Mazda MX-5 Miata and a Nissan 370Z.
